ABS can give your PC the attention it needs!

ABS Computer Headquarters, L.L.C. are leaders in the Central Nebraska area in PC repair and service.  Upgrades, hardware problems, software issues, viruses, Spyware; we do it all!  We take care of printers and other peripherals as well, just bring them to our office for our technicians to troubleshoot.  We can get your PC problems solved and get your PC back on track.

In-Store Repair & Service Rates

Hourly Rate $60 (one hour minimum)
After 1st hour $15 / quarter hour

In other words, if your PC takes 1 1/4 hours to fix, we charge $75 + tax.  As of November 1st, 2003, all computer service is taxable.

Guidelines for bringing your PC or peripheral in:

  1. Regardless of the issue we will be troubleshooting, it is often more cost-effective to reload Windows than to troubleshoot certain problems for more than a few minutes because they aren't easily resolved.  As such, we ask that whenever you bring in a PC for repair you bring your Windows disc and certificate* as well as any software you might have loaded or installed on the PC so that if we need to repair an installation or perform a complete reinstall we have the necessary software to do so.  This helps speed up the repair process tremendously.
  2. If you are bringing in a peripheral to troubleshoot, please bring your PC and the cables to connect that peripheral to the PC as well as the peripheral's power cabling.  Many times we receive a peripheral that works fine when we test in in the store, and only after receiving the customer's PC do we find that the problem actually resides on the computer, not the peripheral hardware itself.  This includes printers, scanners, monitors, PDA devices, digital cameras, etc.
  3. Inkjet printers are inexpensive devices in today's world, and though the printer you may have paid over $150 three years ago still works, it may not be worth your hard earned money to troubleshoot it.  You may be better served to purchase a new inkjet printer that is faster, more cost effective, uses less ink, and has a manufacturer's warranty.  If you are unsure how old your printer is or what might be the most cost-effective solution for you, feel free to call our office and speak with a technician about it.  Based on either our records of when you purchased the printer, or the model number from the printer, we can help you decide what is the best choice for your dollar.
