Things to consider when bringing a printer in for repair:

1. How much did you pay for the printer originally?

2. How long have to you had the printer?

3. Is it still under warranty?

4. What is your yearly ink cost? (if printer is an inkjet)

5. How many pages do you print per month?

In today's marketplace, inkjet printers are so inexpensive that they are often at times easier (and less expensive) to replace than to troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix.  When you compare the average value of a laser printer at $160 with one hour of in-store labor at $80, by the time a problem can be properly diagnosed and identified, it may or may not be worth fixing Many times, you can end up spending as much to try to repair a printer as you would in replacing it.  We at ABS appreciate your business and wish for you to have a printer that meets your needs.  As such, we want you to be informed of these issues prior to making your decision regarding inkjet printer repair.  Additionally, the cost of ink may be several times more per year than toner for a business class laser printer.
